In celebration of the upcoming World Cup, EA Sports announced a new update to FIFA 18, which will bring the trophy to the world's most popular football simulation game.
Starting on May 29, owners of the game will be able to download the update free of charge "to experience the greatest tournaments on the planet through realistic play, teams, stadiums and more."
Besides playing in the original tournament through a series of stages, you will also be able to write history the way you want - by creating a World Cup dedicated to your mood. Of course, you will be able to involve the teams you want in the tournament, even if these teams are not participating in the tournament in our real world.
EA Sports also confirmed that the World Cup experience will put it on the popular Team Ultimate stage. As a result, icons, a new chemistry system, and players' elements will be added with new classifications as well.
Finally, the FIFA World Cup update will reach FIFA 18 on May 29 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
